“We together as women, standing shoulder-to-shoulder, cannot and will not any longer accept silence.”
In May of this year, Amber Heard accused Johnny Depp of physical and verbal abuse, filing for a restraining order and divorce.

After a very public split — in which Depp firmly denied the abuse allegations — the couple came to a settlement and released a joint statement.
“Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love,” the pair said. “Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm.”
Heard donated the $7 million she was awarded in the settlement to charity.

But now Heard has teamed up with the website Girlgaze to release a PSA on domestic violence.
The campaign starts off with Heard addressing the disbelief many women feel when abuse happens to them.
