Beef take thriller against Liberty 43-41

SALINA, Kan. — James Kazalski kicked a field goal in the final moments to lead the Omaha Beef to a 43-41 victory over Salina on Saturday.

The Beef (2-1) led for most of the game before the Liberty (1-2) scored with 43 seconds left and converted a two-point conversion to take a 41-40 advantage.

Joshua Floyd Jr. threw three touchdown passes to Jeremiah Oates. The Beef also scored two defensive touchdowns, with Dominick Sierra returning a fumble and Stephan McCord finding the end zone after an interception.

The Beef will host the Sioux City Bandits at Ralston Arena at 7:05 p.m. Friday.  Tickets are on sale now and start at just $10 by calling the Beef office at 402-346-BEEF.  Season tickets are still on sale and a few select seats are still available for as low as $49.
