OMAHA PERFORMING ARTS ANNOUNCES DETAILS FOR CONOR OBERST SHOW AT HOLLAND STAGES FESTIVAL
Oberst Headlines The Free Festival On October 17 At Holland Center
Omaha, Neb. (September 10, 2015) – Omaha Performing Arts announced today how fans can see Conor Oberst’s free concert at the Holland Stages Festival on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Oberst is the all-day festival’s headliner, performing in Kiewit Hall at the Holland Performing Arts Center, 1200 Douglas St., at 8 p.m. that evening.
Tickets are not required to attend the majority of the Holland Stages Festival, though performances after 5 p.m. will require a wristband for entrance. Wristbands will be distributed on a first come, first served basis beginning at 3 p.m. at the 12th Street Arrival Plaza of the Holland Center. All-access wristbands will be distributed first, which will allow a patron entrance into any space in the Holland after 5 p.m., including Kiewit Hall for Oberst’s show. In the event that available all-access wristbands are completely handed out, wristbands for a simulcast will be distributed to the remaining patrons. Simulcast wristbands will allow a patron to gain entrance to any space in the Holland but the Kiewit concert hall. Patrons can view Oberst’s show on simulcast screens set up indoors in the Scott Recital Hall and ConAgra East lobby, as well as outdoors in the courtyard. Only one wristband per person; you must be present to receive your wristband for the headliner concert.
The all-day performing arts event is a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Holland Performing Arts Center. Performances will be held from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. inside and outside the building, with family-friendly and interactive performances earlier in the day, followed by a variety of jazz, roots, world and blues artists until 5 p.m., and ending with the Holland Stages “After Dark” performances. The Holland Stages Festival is open to all ages.
