Pirates and Mermaids is an interactive environment for large motor play for young children, featuring a 40-foot wooden pirate ship where children can walk the plank into a ball pit sea and climbing nets for lookout points. Among the biggest attractions are the five large animatronic prehistoric creatures throughout the exhibit, including a massive megalodon and octopus. Children will explore natural history through hands-on activities with authentic fossils related to the creatures.
