Farrell's Contract Selected, To Make MLB Debut

The Kansas City Royals announced a series of transactions on Saturday that affects their Triple-A affiliate Omaha Storm Chasers roster prior to this evening’s series- matchup versus the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Werner Park.

Right-hander Luke Farrell’s contract has been selected by the Royals. He is expected to make his Major League debut with Kansas City this afternoon in the Royals’ first game of a doubleheader. He would become the fifth member of the 2017 Storm Chasers roster to debut with Kansas City this season after pitchers Jake Junis and Eric Skoglund, as well as infielder Ramon Torres and outfielder Jorge Bonifacio.
