LEWIS TO TOUR WITH THE WATSON TWINS AND SPECIAL GUEST M.WARD
Jenny Lewis has her ties to Omaha, having worked with many local artists, including Conor Oberst. Lewis celebrates the ten-year anniversary of her solo debut, Rabbit Fur Coat, with the release of a deluxe limited edition remastered vinyl album, available for pre-order today at jennylewis.com. Lewis will embark on a tour with The Watson Twins, along with very special guest, M. Ward, just as she did ten years ago, in support of the release. Lewis has been on tour, recently adding October dates with Neil Young and Promise of the Real, behind her critically acclaimed 2014 album The Voyager, which gave the L.A.-based singer-songwriter her first Top 10 album and highest chart debut yet, earning ‘Best of the Year’ accolades from Rolling Stone, TIME, NPR, Spin, Billboard, The Guardian, American Songwriter, Stereogum, Paste, and many more, while “She’s Not Me” and “Just One of the Guys” appeared on Top Song lists from The New York Times, Slant, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Pitchfork, and more.
Lewis and her longtime collaborator Johnathan Rice recently wrote a song for the new Meryl Streep film Ricki And The Flash. Watch Streep perform the song, entitled “Cold One” HERE. She will also appear in the December Netflix special “A Very Murray Christmas,” starring Bill Murray and many guests which was directed by Sofia Coppola.
