The Beef kick off the regular season against Salina.

 

The Omaha Beef will face the Salina Liberty at Ralston Arena on Saturday at 7 p.m. This will be first regular season game of 2018.

 

Omaha is coming off of a 71-6 blowout over the Texas Power. Headlined by the Beef defense with five turnovers, three resulting in touchdowns.

 

Salina edged out with a 17-15 victory over the Wichita Force last Saturday. Kicker Michael Pursley gave the Liberty the lead with 1:27 remaining in the 4th quarter.

 

Head Coach Mike Bonner will be coaching against his former team. He held the interim head coach position in 2017 for Salina, leading them to their only late win against the Bloomington Edge.

Omaha was 2-0 against Salina last season. The Beef won 76-44 and 26-23 in both matchups.

Omaha went 5-2 at Ralston Arena last season and looks to defend home turf on Saturday against Salina.
