You may already know about Eugene T Mahoney State Park in southeastern Nebraska near Ashland – it was rated by ReserveAmerica as the #3 state park in the whole country. It’s an enormous complex with a water park, horseback riding, a toboggan run, cabins, and of course, camping. But there’s a part of the park that many families still haven’t tried out yet: the epic indoor playground.

The Activity Center at Mahoney State Park’s winter hours are Monday, Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m; closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. A parks pass is required to enter Eugene T Mahoney State Park, and there is an additional fee of $2 per person to enter the Activity Center.
