Travis Ribbing and Anthony Iannotti each rushed for two touchdowns as Omaha beat Kansas City 37-29 in Champions Indoor Football action at Ralston Arena on Saturday.
With the Phantoms (1-8) leading 29-23 in the second half, the Beef (5-3) pulled ahead when Ribbing scored a 2-yard touchdown run with 14:01 remaining.
Iannotti tacked on an insurance touchdown with 3:26 left, scoring from three yards out on a read option play.
The Beef intercepted Phantom quarterback Derrick Bernard on Kansas City’s next possession to preserve the win.
The Omaha Beef are back in action this Saturday when the travel to Muskegon Michigan to take on the West Michigan Ironmen!
