OMAHA, Neb- The Victory Boxing Club in South Omaha, thrives on the community that has built upon itself in creating both discipline and focus through a religion standpoint.
The club offers many opportunities to become great as Servando Perales compares how both operate.
“Christianity and Boxing are a lot alike you know, you can’t get comfortable in the ring.” Perales said.
You can’t be comfortable in reading your word, and Christianity you can’t just think you arrive because you overcome one sin.”
The boxing center creates aspects that make people believe that it’s creating help with the youth, as Miguel Gomez, a young man who works out at the boxing gym tells the importance with it.
“I’ll still be here and represent because I respect coach” Gomez said
“I want to show the youth something good and I don’t want to force anything on anyone else”
Faith brings importance for everyone and defines who they can be, as Lesly Sanchez describes what she believes the club represents.

“This club is a really special thing because boxing can become such a prideful sport.” Sanchez said.
“People can become really consumed in their own doing, but bringing faith really takes that away, and it’s such a humble and loving environment.
The Victory Boxing club combines both boxing and religion in a way that greatly showcases what’s necessary as they continue with it moving forward.
