Coneflower Creamery is an ice cream shop, but its Thanksgiving preorder is mostly pie. That matters if you are trying to cover more than one kind of guest. The shop’s holiday list includes gluten-free versions of four pies and a vegan option, so one order can work for a table with mixed needs.

Here is the planning detail: the four standard pies on the holiday preorder are listed at $42 each, and pints are $11.75, and pickup runs noon to 10 p.m. Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25. All sales are final.

What is on the preorder

The Coneflower holiday pre-order page lists brown butter pecan, pumpkin, cherry, and sweet potato pies. Each of those four also has a gluten-free version listed. A vegan gingerbread pie is another option. Confirm the price of those versions in the order screen; the fetched page did not show their prices.

The preorder also offers ice cream pints at $11.75. Check the current flavor choices in the order screen. A pie and pint are separate items, so budget for both rather than assuming a bundle.

We have not conducted a tasting for this story. This is about what you can order and when, not a ranking of pies.

The shop’s home page says scoop flavors change with the season and that you have to stop in to see what is on that day. Its classics list names vanilla bean, cookies and cream, dark chocolate, salted caramel, an Archetype Coffee blend, and a butterbrickle homage tied to the old Blackstone Hotel. It does not post a full current scoop board. If you want a specific seasonal pint such as creamy peppermint bark or vegan gingerbread, the preorder is the reliable way to get it.

Pickup: confirm which shop

Coneflower has three locations on its home page: 3921 Farnam Street in the Blackstone District, 1241 Millwork Ave. in Millwork Commons, and 2625 N. Main St. in Olde Towne Elkhorn. All three list the same regular hours, Tuesday through Saturday noon to 10 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and closed Monday.

The preorder page gives the pickup window but does not say which shop handles holiday orders. Do not assume your closest shop. Check the location shown at checkout, or call the shop at 402.913.2399 before you drive.

The fine print that matters

Two lines on the page are worth taking seriously. All sales are final, and orders must be picked up by closing on Wednesday, November 25. If your travel plans are uncertain, settle the pickup arrangements before ordering.

The practical move: decide whether anyone at your table needs gluten-free or vegan, order that pie first, then add the pints. Pick the Tuesday window if Wednesday is already crowded.
