Durham: Struck in Independence coins (through Jan 3, 2027)

Still looking at early American money downtown? The Durham Museum’s Struck in Independence: Coins of the American Revolution is listed on view now through January 3, 2027.

The museum says the exhibit uses rare pieces from the Byron Reed Collection, colonial coins and paper notes with liberty symbols, curated with University of Nebraska at Omaha graduate intern Julia Mulloy.
