We wrapped up OFW August 2023 less than a month ago and are already dreaming up new plans for next season! The fun literally never ends here at OFW! Shows are scheduled for Feb. 21-25, 2024. We will have more details on programming once designers are selected in mid-November.
We are welcoming new selection panelists, recruiting designers, scheduling model call, casting visions for editorial content and reaching out to new educational partners to participate in our student showcases that have become our tradition during the spring season.
We are also making some difficult decisions on programming for Spring. One such decision was the mutual agreement with Methodist Hospital to discontinue the Survivor Show. We hosted 10 editions of the Survivor Show with our friends at Methodist and saw thousands of survivors walk triumphantly down the runway. We raised over $50,000 for the Inner Beauty Salon through this partnership. We are thankful for the memories as this was one of the most rewarding aspects of producing a show like OFW. We are proud of all of our survivors and the work we did to create a positive space for them to connect and celebrate. They will forever have our hearts.
