Ponce “The Hit Man” Deleon claimed his second Defensive Player of the Week award for his performance in the Beef’s comeback win over the Sioux City Bandits on Saturday, 34-32. Deleon won the award the previous week in the Beef’s win over Sioux City in Ralston.
Deleon made ten tackles, had one interception, and one pass breakup in the at Sioux City. If you combine the two weeks he made 15 tackles, .5 TFL, two interceptions, and 1 pass breakup.
Omaha has two games remaining in the regular season. Saturday, June 1st they play at Loveland, Colorado vs the Colorado Spartans. The following week they host the Carolina Cobras at Liberty First Credit Union Arena on June 8th with a 6:30pm kickoff.
