On the eve of the 2023 season kicking off, the Omaha Beef and Midwest Poured Walls, Inc. announced the signing of former University of Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. The four-year starter had an impressive playing career for the Cornhuskers, posting several school records during his career. In 45 games played, Armstrong still holds numerous school career records, including passing yards, completions, passing touchdowns, total yards and more. After Armstrong’s collegiate career, he had a brief stint with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League.
