35 in 35 – Day 1 | Chris Perry

CHRIS PERRY | 5’10, 196 | DB/RB | MICHIGAN

One of
Omaha Beef’s veteran players, Chris Perry, will return for the 2020
Season.  Perry has a lot of passion and love for the game and has
established himself as a leader on both sides of the ball for Omaha.

“I’m
originally from Orlando, I started playing the game at four years old, with
flag football, been in love ever since then, it was a true and natural love
from the start,” Perry said.

Perry is a
veteran indoor player, with stops at the Orlando Predators, Washington Valors,
Wichita Nighthawks, and the Chicago Eagles.  After moving to Nebraska,
Perry joined the Beef and will enter his fourth season with the team.

Perry has
demonstrated his athletic strengths and talents, in all areas of the game with
the Beef. “I play every special skill position and can play all three phases of
the game; offense, defense and special teams,” said Perry.

Beyond his
on the field contributions, Perry is a highly visible figure of the Beef
organization off the field and in the community. “I am being a positive role
model, in the community, by coaching youth kids NFL flag football and I’m a
mentor to trouble youth as well.”

With the season beginning in just a few weeks, Perry is focused on the upcoming season for Omaha. “My personal goals for this season are to lead the league in kick return yards and TDs and be the only player to score in all three phases of the game.  My team goal is to make history by winning Omaha’s first championship. I’ve been to the championship once and lost, the only left to do is win!”
