This year’s millionth visitor to walk through the redemption gates at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium was Jenny Atkinson from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Atkinson entered the Zoo at about 10:35 a.m. today, July 18. Atkinson is visiting the Zoo with her family: Christopher Unger, Henri (age 9) and Charlie (age 3).
As the Zoo’s special guest, Atkinson and her family were greeted by a “tunnel” of Zoo staff and the Zoo’s Animal Ambassadors. They also received a complimentary membership to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, a Zoo gift basket, ride tickets, Lozier Giant Screen Theater® tickets, and a golf cart tour with giraffe encounter.
