Join old-home owners, restoration experts, and preservation lovers alike networking and gathering ideas, solutions and inspiration for restoring older properties. The conference opens with a reception at The Pella, a new event facility inside the former Pella Lutheran Church at 41st and Harney Streets. The gothic church was constructed in 1952 atop an unfinished church basement dating to 1916. The Pella’s upper lounge provides a bird’s-eye perspective of the main event space, and offers guests an intimate look at the impressive beams and ceiling woodwork. At the event Preservation “Speed Dating” will give people five minutes to talk about a preservation, restoration, rehabilitation problem they want to solve in front of hundreds of preservationists attending the Friday night opening reception who could help.
