Registration is now open for Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s one-of-a-kind class: Yoga in the Aquarium.
Guests are invited to strike a pose and take in the beauty and serenity of the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium on select dates in March and June. Attendees will be able to exercise their body and mind through different flows taught by instructors from Lotus House of Yoga. The event will take place inside of the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium Conference Center.
Participants must be at least 16 years old, but classes are taught for all experience levels to enjoy. Attendees are asked to bring their own yoga mats, water bottle and any other necessary equipment. Cost is $16 per person for Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium members and $22 for non-members. Pre-registration is required for each class as space is limited. Cost includes a one-hour yoga class and admission to the Zoo.
As with all Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium events, proceeds from Yoga at the Zoo will be allocated toward animal health, wellness and enrichment programs as well as furthering conservation efforts worldwide.
