Our emcee, Maria Corpuz, hosted our show with confidence and charisma. She was styled by the incredibly talented, Sydney Moore, with her sustainably sourced secondhand and vintage finds. Our backstage Beauty Alliance run by SOHO Hair Academy, using Surface hair care products are absolutely killing the hair and makeup game!
To kick off the night, headliner, Lion + Owl, showcased a collection of adaptive clothing for children on the runway, full of bright hues and activewear silhouettes! We loved seeing the youngest generation of fashion talent on the runway, some of which making their debut! Emerging designers showcased looks on the runway featuring hand-crafted details, resortwear, and streetwear. Collections by SKR, Jam Jar Clothing, Young Pain, Doubt Undoubtedly, April Spring Powell, and Elsie’s Attic made up this group of emerging designers.
During intermission, house music kept the energy up and attendees enjoyed looking through their Omaha FASHION Magazine. Guests were sure to check out this season’s merchandise, designed by our very own apprenticeship program!
