South Terminal travelers at Eppley Airfield can now use a newly opened stretch of concourse. On November 4, 2026, Build OMA, the Omaha Airport Authority’s terminal modernization program, listed a “Gate Preview Now Open” update: a portion of the new concourse is open, giving South Terminal passengers their first look at new gates, spaces and amenities.

An August 26, 2026 Build OMA construction update had previewed the first all-new gates for late 2026, with more seating, charging stations and updated restrooms, while noting construction continues through 2028. Officials advise arriving at least two hours early, reserving parking at ParkOMA, and using Find Your Way tools at FlyOMA.
