Omaha, Neb. (Jan. 21, 2025) – Eppley Airfield set a new annual record for passenger traffic in 2024 with 5,277,326 travelers flying through the airport. The record-setting volume surpassed the previous record of 5,043,194 passengers set in 2018. The new milestone is also a 5.0% increase over 2023 passenger totals.
“Our record 2024 activity is a testament to the growing community and strong economy that we are fortunate to have here in Omaha,” said Dave Roth, Chief Executive Officer for the Omaha Airport Authority. “In 2023, we exceeded pre-pandemic activity levels and now, in 2024, we have set a new all-time annual record of passenger activity. We would like to thank our passengers for their increased interest in travel and we appreciate the support of our airlines and their investment in Omaha. The growth in passenger activity underscores the basis for our demand-driven Terminal Modernization Program. While the terminal may be busier than ever, Eppley Airfield is committed to providing premier customer service and airport facilities to accommodate growth.”
