Looking for an indoor stop in Omaha this weekend? Two exhibitions at The Joslyn offer different ways to think about memory and history. Both are on view through March 7, 2027.

Start with a home movie, reimagined

In Jacolby Satterwhite: Country Ball 1989–2012, the artist uses 3D graphics to revisit a childhood home movie. The museum describes a mix of performance, animation and found images. Look for it in Hawks Pavilion Media Gallery H6.

Then turn to history in print

Made in USA: Prints for the American Revolution Bicentennial brings together prints commissioned for the 1976 bicentennial. The exhibition considers the images and stories artists used to explore how national history gets made and passed along. It is in Hawks Pavilion Works on Paper Gallery H5.

Both exhibitions opened October 3, 2026.

Plan your visit

The Joslyn is at 2200 Dodge Street in Omaha. Check the museum’s current exhibition listings and visitor information for hours, admission details and schedule changes before heading out.
