Boozy Cold Tequila Sunrise Cocktail with Grenadine

Hello, Omaha cocktail lovers! As we embrace the beauty of our surroundings, this week’s featured cocktail is inspired by the breathtaking sunsets over Nebraska’s prairies. Introducing: The Prairie Sunset!

This visually stunning cocktail captures the vibrant colors of a sunset with layers of orange, red, and pink, and combines the refreshing tastes of citrus and berry. It’s a perfect drink to enjoy as you unwind and watch the day turn into night.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz Vodka
  • 2 oz Orange juice
  • 1 oz Cranberry juice
  • ½ oz Raspberry liqueur (like Chambord)
  • A splash of Lemon-lime soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange slice and raspberry for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a shaker, combine vodka and orange juice with ice.
  2. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled glass.
  3. Slowly pour the cranberry juice over the back of a spoon to create a layer on top of the orange juice.
