Tamar Heart has been named week 11 Defensive Player of the week as part of the Omaha’s 66-13 victory over the Topeka Tropics. Heart registered six tackles, of which was one sack. He also had two pass breakups and blocked a kick.
The Beef (9-0) are on bye this week and will host Sioux City on May 27 at Liberty First Credit Union Arena for the 50th meeting between the two teams. Omaha has locked up home field advantage for the playoffs and a opening round bye. The semi-finals will take place on June 10th.
