Apply Online Before and Then Attend Part-Time Job Fair


Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is looking to fill almost 200 part-time Guest Services and Education positions at a job fair on Thursday, April 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. All who plan to attend the job fair must apply online at least 24 hours prior to the fair at OmahaZoo.com/WorkHere. Applicants must wear face masks at the job fair.

The job fair will be conducted in the Zoo’s Durham’s TreeTops Restaurant. No appointments are necessary and immediate interviews will be available for the following positions:

  • Concessions Crew Member
  • Concessions Shift Supervisor
  • Catering Campout Supervisor
  • Gift Shop Cashier
  • Rides Cashier
  • Skyfari Operator
  • Guest Services Shift Supervisor

  • Admissions Clerical Assistant
  • Play Facilitator
  • Interpretive Guide
  • Instructor
  • Campout Leader
  • Train Conductor and Crossing Guard
  • Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park
    • Gift Shop Shift Supervisor
    • Gift Shop Cashier

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium accepts applicants 16 years of age or older. Applicants should be able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. The Zoo currently employs approximately 300 full-time and 650 part-time staff  members, who together, run the top tourist attraction in the state and one of the best zoos in the world.
