Omaha Zoo

Join Us for Yoga in the Aquarium

Omaha’s Zoo is hosting one-of-a-kind yoga classes inside the Scott Aquarium Conference Center on Saturdays, Oct. 10 and 24, and Nov. 7 and 21, from 9 to 10 a.m. Guests will be able to take in the beauty and serenity of the Aquarium while exercising their body and imagination through yoga.

Classes are taught by a different instructor from Lotus House of Yoga each day. Participants must be at least 16 years old and bring their own yoga mats, water bottles and necessary equipment. Social distancing is also encouraged, so class size is limited to 70 participants. Pre-event registration is required.

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is committed to taking the necessary precautions to protect the health and wellness of all staff, guests and animals. The Zoo has adopted the principals of a “healthy you, healthy Zoo.” Face masks are strongly encouraged outdoors and are required to enter indoor exhibits. Unless otherwise notified, face masks are currently required inside the Scott Aquarium Conference Center as this is an indoor exhibit space. Face masks can be removed once the class begins and attendees are exercising and staying six feet apart. Face masks are available for purchase onsite if a guest does not have one to enter an indoor exhibit.
