Repair and Care for Your Favorite Teddy Bear at Omaha’s Zoo and Aquarium

Guests are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for repair and care at the annual Teddy Bear Weekend on Saturday, March 26, and Sunday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Clinic will be held at the Harper Event Center located near Stingray Beach and Asian Highlands

Teddy Bear Weekend is a family favorite that includes learning, entertainment and wild animal fun! Guests can bring their teddy bear or other stuffed animal to receive special treatment by skilled staff. Stuffed animals will go through a check-up including height, heartbeat, ear and eye exams and, if needed, a trip the emergency room. Please note that the Emergency Room will be closing at 1 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday so please arrive early if your furry friend needs a special trip to the ERThe clinic is a great way for kids to familiarize themselves with the health care community and what they may expect if they need to visit a doctor, hospital or dentist.

Event activities are free to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium members or with regular paid Zoo admission. Children, ages 3-11, who bring in their favorite stuffed animal will receive free admission to the Zoo when accompanied by a paying adult.

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium continues to operate by our “Healthy You, Healthy Zoo” guidelines and is committed to the safety and well-being of our guests, animals, and employees.
